What a wonderful surprise to start the day! We are just bursting with pride – the Ocean Sands has been shortlisted for EIGHT Yes Chef Awards. We can’t believe it and we are so proud of our team.

It’s just incredible and we can’t wait for the awards night. It takes the form of a gala dinner on Tuesday 21st April and this year it’s going to be at the Fairways Hotel in Co. Louth.
Ever since Chef Marcin joined us, we’ve put a big focus on dining and food. He has revamped all our menus, made connections with lots of wonderful local suppliers and introduced innovations like Afternoon Tea by the Sea and the Chef’s Table Tasting Menu.
Our front of house team led by Gary always makes a huge effort to ensure everything runs smoothly and all our diners have the best possible experience. General Manager Jennifer is so happy and proud to see all these efforts rewarded.
We know awards aren’t everything, but it’s so satisfying to be recognised publicly for the service we love to provide.
