TV personality Síle Seoige is the celebrity host for our Wedding Expo on Sunday 4th January 2026. It’s going to be a gala event with a stunning range of exhibitors as well as engaging and relevant interviews. It’s a must-go date for anyone planning a wedding next year – an amazing opportunity to meet all the suppliers you’ll need together in one place. Our Wedding Expo is always an action-packed afternoon – and a great day out too.
Síle is especially excited to be part of the Ocean Sands Hotel Wedding Expo. Having celebrated her own wedding to Damien in Connemara last summer, she’s totally in tune with everything a prospective bridal couple need to know. The charismatic presenter is one of Ireland’s most trusted and versatile voices in media. A seasoned TV presenter and native Irish speaker, she is known for her warmth, professionalism, and ability to connect with any audience—on screen, on stage, and through her acclaimed podcast Ready to be Real. Síle has presented everything from current affairs and documentaries to lifestyle, entertainment, and youth programming. In 2021, her TG4 documentary Deireadh Tochta on miscarriage was praised for its honesty and emotional impact.
The Ocean Sands wedding team can’t wait to showcase everything the hotel to Síle, and everyone who’s coming to the Wedding Expo. We’ll have delicious tastings, hotel showarounds and mini treatments. We’re expecting over 50 stands with carefully chosen wedding suppliers – everything from photographers and videographers to florists, makeup, hair and beauty. The lovely ballroom will be decorated and packed to capacity with everything you could possibly need for your special day. Entertainment hasn’t been forgotten either; expect toe tapping music, Irish dancing, Church music and a few more surprises as well.

The Ocean Spa has a gorgeous selection of bridal packages and of course we will have a stand showcasing them at the Expo. We’re proud of our food and all the menus are carefully designed by our award-winning head chef Marcin Szczodrowski – we’ll have mini tastings on offer so you can taste for yourself.
